​On November 9, 2025, just days before his 89th birthday, we lost Duncan Quarless—a father, mentor, and friend whose warmth and wisdom shaped everyone around him. DQ, as he was often called, was an inspiration for the founding of the QUARLESS brand.

Duncan’s specific contribution to humanity lives on through Bajan Sayin (working title), launching in early 2026: a vibrant series of apparel, home goods, and wall art featuring his unforgettable Bajan sayings and life lessons. From “a watched pot don't boil” and “I got 3 words for you... I love you” to “I’m as serious as cancer,” each piece captures his humor, grit, and love for life.
